Trainee Account Handler (Full Time) – Farm & Equine Department
County Insurance Services, the independent, family run insurance broker in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, is looking for a Trainee Account Handler to join our Farm & Equine Department
Our Trainee Account handlers are an administrative role providing support to our team of Farm executives with file preparation, data entry and communicating with Insurance Underwriters and clients.
The position will help continue to expand our team and develop our client base further.
We’ve been trading for over 35 years and have a proven track record in delivering for a wide variety of direct clients and insurance brokers across the UK. Our success is based on a long running tradition of focusing on niche farm and rural trades, as well as thatch and non standard home properties.
As our Trainee Account Handler, you will be at the start of your insurance career, or you are maybe who someone already handles insurance accounts in a different line or industry of insurance.
You will help handle new business, mid term adjustments and renewal transactions to start off with, and get to learn about our partner insurers and processes. The role has the opportunity to help handle new business and be part of a dedicated handling team that services over 1,200 farmers across the UK
We have a successful sales culture within office and as a team player you can help contribute to this. While you won’t have a direct selling role you can expect to help our growth plans by taking part in prospecting and networking activities when available. This can include weekend work at county and country shows and other buying group events
Support and training will be provided to help you gain knowledge and experience within the industry and to Chartered Insurance Institute level
