A great day out at Moreton Show

A regular for our Out in the Field team, this year’s Moreton Show was also County’s first for having it’s own stand in addition to our regular presence with the Hereford Cattle Society.

Serving a light lunch and drinks on our stand near the sheep pens, many of County’s team were on hand to meet and greet stand visitors. At the Hereford Tent, County had the opportunity to present a prize and have a turn on the mic in a brief interview with Poll Show commentator.

This year we brought our now famously fiendish Archers Family Tree game where entrants were asked to name key characters in the soap based on their photographs alone. The game was won by Archers Addict A Kimble of Buckingham.

Twitter highlights from the day include:

Oliver Burns, County’s Marketing Manager and an avid rural show visitor, said: “Moreton is a wonderful agricultural show and this year it was great to have a double presence in the livestock areas.”

He added: “We get to meet many of our clients here and I’d even met someone I’d previously dealt with only over the phone. It really goes to show having a presence at shows it’s a great way to give back to the local farming and rural communities as well as bring people closer together.”

County would like to Wendy Manning and all at the Hereford Cattle society for their kind hospitality and to all staff at the Moreton Show Office for such a great day.
