A trail blazing first Blakesley Show for County
Following the successful Thame Sheep Fair, Tim, Tracey, Ollie and honorary Out in the Field member Bob traveled to Blakesley Show for the first time in County’s history.
Slightly cooler than earlier that week, the show saw over 5,000 locals from the Northants, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire visit stands at Blakesley Heath Farm, Maidford.
County’s team offered stand visitors ploughmans lunches and afternoon tea and cake. In it’s second outing was the Archers Family Tree competition, won by K Soden of Leominster.
Ollie, County’s Marketing Manager, said: “It was great to be on home turf as County visited Blakesley Show for the first time. I can’t tell you how much of a success it was. We made contact with many new farmers and growers from across the region and can’t wait to start contributing to their businesses.”
He added: “We’ll definitely be building on our success when we come back next year!”
