Best in Breed at South East Primestock 2018
Members of County’s Out in the Field Team, including Tracey Morrison and Lisa Mosson, attended this year’s South East Primestock event held at Ardingley.
Having received a warm welcome from Mary Masters and others on the committee it was time for the team to meet exhibitors and visitors at the event.
County’s stand, in the Abergaveny building, featured the chance to meet Lisa & Tracey and an opportunity to enter competitions and prize draws.
This year’s competition was a crazy Christmas quiz, with visitors having to guess what the distorted animal breeds were. We’re pleased to announce that H Jones won with the most correct guesses. Stand visitors were also invited to take part in a prize draw which this year was by M Lee. His brother, G Lee, had won it the previous year in a family first for County competitions.

Tracey, County’s Shows Manager, said: “The South East Mart is always the beginning of our Christmas show season and we’re always pleased to see our clients and their friends on the day. With a good number of livestock on hand and great examples of the breeds it’s always an entertaining day.”
Tracey also had the honour of judging the children’s wreaths and scarecrows entries.
She added: “The competition was fierce and it was very difficult to pick just one winner from each category. Well done to all the children who entered”
