Our Macmillan Lady – Tracey Collen
Our Claims Manager Tracey, fondly known as the ‘Macmillan Lady’ devotes volumes of time fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support and Prospect Hospice in Swindon. She works alongside a close-knit group of highly motivated volunteers who are all driven by their fond memories of loved ones’.
Two recent fundraising projects have been successfully covered in local press; The Celebration of Life Concert, held at All Saints Church Faringdon over the summer. This was a huge success raising £1,147 in aid of Prospect Hospice and Macmillan.
Tracey has also organised a farewell and thank you event at the Nut Tree Gift Shop in Faringdon, which recently closed due to the owner’s retirement. The owners had supported Macmillan so generously, it was lovely to have this story covered by the local paper.
Tracey is always looking for new helpers for fundraising activities like these, so if you would like to be a part of the team please email Tracey for a chat.
