I was first introduced to County Insurance Services about 7 or 8 years ago and we’ve been with them ever since. We were very worried about leaving our original provider but we needn’t have been. County Insurance Services have consistently delivered a helpful and supportive service. Their range of policies means they are able to provide us with a competitive premium based on the value of the business at any given time, not based on the turnover alone which had seen our premium double through our previous provider. County Insurance Services cover all aspects of our large farming operation which includes 1400 head of cattle, 3 houses, 2 farms and a mixture of commercial and private vehicles. The transition was smooth and I particularly value being able to speak to a named individual when I call them.
It was Monday 23rd December 2013 and we were in the middle of a really bad period of storms. I was getting ready to leave the business to go on holiday when the wind ripped the roof off our stable block. My priority was to get the situation resolved as quickly as possible. Our relationship with County Insurance Services started in 2012. They had visited our premises to undertake a full insurance review and recommended a number of changes to our level of cover. As a result, when the Loss Adjuster arrived on Christmas Eve, the day after being instructed, they were happy that we were adequately insured. They made me a fair offer and we settled the claim there and then with a handshake. Thankfully a potentially complex process was actually made very easy.
As home-owners, car-owners and frequent travellers, we have been clients of County Insurance Services since 2003. From day one we have experienced the most efficient and friendly service from the company and Suzanne Taylor in particular. Having to deal with insurance can be a nightmare, but County Insurance Services turn it into a pleasure. All other service providers could learn a lot from this extremely well run company.
The fire was an extremely traumatic experience. Thankfully nobody was hurt, but our production facilities were completely destroyed. As an established business with customers relying on us, it was imperative for us to be up and running as quickly as possible. It was a difficult time but County Insurance Services couldn’t have been more helpful. Their annual onsite review had ensured the business was not under-insured. They were able to expedite the claim on our behalf, whilst our business interruption protection allowed us to retain staff onsite during the rebuild. Our replacement facilities went up very quickly, which enabled us to retain customers and will allow us to expand our operations in the future. An event like this would surely have closed us down for good had we not been properly insured in all aspects of the business. I’m extremely relieved that things have turned out so well.

Having recently completed an annual review we have renewed our relationship with County Insurance Services for another year. This decision was based on their level of flexibility, the quality of the service offering and another competitive premium. We still deal with our original Account Executive and this level of continuity is ensuring we get maximum business value from the relationship.
